Police seize more than 8 pounds of marijuana in Scottsbluff hotel

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - Police have seized more than 8 pounds of Marijuana. It happened on Sunday.

According to an affidavit from the Scottsbluff Police Department a hotel staff worker saw Nicholas Ostlie being treated by medical personnel due to a seizure. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.

When staff went to the hotel room documents say they thought they smelled Marijuana and saw paraphernalia throughout the room.

When officers arrived they contacted Allison Luna who identified herself as as Ostlie’s girlfriend.

Police say she told them she was smoking and showed a multicolored bong as well as a few Marijuana buds.

During a search of the room the affidavit states officers recovered a 40 caliber pistol with ammunition over $1000 in various increments T-H-C batter and sealed packages of Marijuana.

Both were arrested.
