ALLIANCE, Neb. -- Authorities arrested a 34-year-old Alliance man on multiple outstanding warrants.

The Nebraska State Patrol said they were able to arrest Richard Garcia with the assistance of the Alliance Police Department.

NSP said investigators learned that Garcia, the subject of two arrest warrants, was living at a residence in Alliance.

Authorities said the two warrants were for failing to appear in court on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person, carrying a concealed weapon, habitual criminal, and failing to appear in court for sentencing.

NSP said investigators served a search warrant at the residence in Alliance Friday afternoon.

Garcia was taken into custody without incident by members of the NSP SWAT Team. He was lodged in Box Butte County Jail.
