Sidney School District officials have announced a late start in reaction to the expected snow storm.

SIDNEY -- Sidney School District officials have announced a late start in reaction to the expected snow storm.

The news release states predictions are for 4-5 inches of snow and winds up to 35 mph, leading school officials to announce a 10 a.m. start. Officials will assess conditions Wednesday morning.

The National Weather Service in Cheyenne, Wyo., has issued a winter weather advisory for the Panhandle area through Thursday morning, and a windchill advisory mid-Wednesday through Thursday.
