SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - The Scotts Bluff County Commissioners met with representatives from KCTS in Kimball to discuss creating a future partnership between the two.

On Monday, the Scotts Bluff County Board of Commissioners met with Christy Warner to discuss partnering together to improve public transit access for both counties. Currently, the Tri-City Roadrunner is the public transit for Scotts Bluff County and KCTS helps serve the southern panhandle.

“I just came here to speak about building some partnerships between Kimball County and Scotts Bluff County,” said Warner.

Warner also told the council KCTS doesn’t want to take up the duties of Tri-City Roadrunner, but wanted to help ease the burden on the service and offer more to the county with transport to the southern Nebraska, southern Wyoming, and northern Colorado area.

The council will discuss and take action on this matter at its next meeting on March 20. If anyone has questions about the meeting they can contact the Scotts Bluff County at 308-436-6670 and KCTS at 308-235-0262.
