Lincoln County authorities have identified body found on locomotive
Authorities have identified the female body that was found in a locomotive that was found in Bailey Yard Sunday.
By News Channel NebraskaNORTH PLATTE, Neb. -- Authorities have identified the female body that was found in a locomotive that was found in Bailey Yard Sunday.
The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office said the woman has been identified as 42-year-old Bernadette Lopez of Cheyenne, Wyoming.
The Sheriff's Office said the preliminary autopsy results show that Lopez died from Hypothermia about seven to 10 days before she was found.
Officials said that the locomotive was towed into Bailey Yard from Cheyenne on Saturday, meaning Lopez died in Wyoming.
The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office said that they have closed investigation on this matter, and have turned it over to the Cheyenne Police Department.
