Pine Bluffs, Kimball and Sterling under severe thunderstorm watch

Another round of showers and thunderstorms is expected across the Nebraska Panhandle, southeast Wyoming and northeast Colorado Thursday afternoon and evening.

KIMBALL - Another round of showers and thunderstorms is expected across the Nebraska Panhandle, southeast Wyoming and northeast Colorado Thursday afternoon and evening.

The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Kimball, Laramie and Logan Counties until 9 p.m. According to the NWS, torrential rainfall, localized flash flooding, large hail and damaging winds are all possible with the strongest storms.

Severe thunderstorm warnings were issued for Logan County Thursday morning. Radar indicated golf ball and ping pong ball size hail, and 60 mph wind gusts, near Iliff.
