By News Channel NebraskaKIMBALL - A six-day long investigation of child abuse by the Kimball Police Department ended in an arrest being made Thursday night.
On July 14th, KPD received a report of children being abused at a home in Kimball. After an "extensive" investigation by local officers, evidence confirmed a five-year-old child had in fact sustained injuries from abuse.
On the evening of July 20th, Jacob Newton, 30, of Kimball, was arrested and charged with child abuse.
