CHADRON - The Sidney girls cross country team placed seven runners in the top 25 and edged Gering and Chadron for the team title at the Chadron State College High School Cross Country Invite on Friday.

"It was another great day to be a Running Raider," Head Coach Donna Wiedeburg said. "Once again we ran in hot conditions with no clouds as even the slightest relief from the sun and the kids rose to the occasion. We have been working hard on hills and it showed in the grit and determination these kids raced with. I am very proud of them."
