SFD supports community: In the month of September, Logan County fire departments raised money for kids and adults suffering from muscular dystrophy with Fill the Boot.
With the gracious support of numerous businesses throughout Logan County, the word was spread of the fundraiser, and we cannot thank them enough. The citizens of Logan County rallied together and helped raise $2,545.40 for MDA for research and aid of those struggling every day with muscular dystrophy.
A special thank you to Parts & Labor, who brewed a seasonal firefighter beer (First Due). A portion of the proceeds went directly to Muscular Dystrophy Association. Without the support of the community, these selfless acts would not have been possible.
