Teen escapes serious injury in rollover accident

A 17-year-old boy escaped serious injuries when the pickup truck he was driving went off the road near the Leyton High School football field.

DALTON -- First responders were called to a rollover accident near the Leyton High School athletic field at about 3:48 p.m.

A 17-year-old student was driving a Dodge pickup truck south and attempting a westbound curve when the pickup went out of control, turning from southbound to facing southeast in the west lane before rolling one-half time in the field.
