Traffic stop results in felony arrest
STERLING -- A traffic stop in downtown Sterling, Colo., resulted in an arrest on multiple felony warrants March 27.

STERLING, Colo. -- On March 27, Sterling Police officers attempted a traffic stop on a tan Ford F250 pickup truck at the Post Office in Sterling.
As soon as it stopped, the driver fled on foot from the officers.
The driver, later identified as Kevin Cervantes-Rodriguez, was located by the police K9 and taken into custody a short time later.
Cervantes was found to have multiple felony warrants for aggravated robbery with deadly weapon out of Adams County, robbery charges out of Douglas County, and felony theft out of Douglas County.
