In a game marked by foul shots, the Potter-Dix girls basketball team was able to pick-up a victory on the road in Banner County Friday night. The team relied heavily on help from the bench as starters Madison Frerichs and Crystal Dhoogie as well as early substitute Getta Varra fouled out of the game.

Banner County led for much of the game as Kambree Hottell and Karleigh Leslie led scoring, mostly from under the net. Freshman Kyrie Roldan made an impact with rebounds and points but also got into foul trouble in the game.

In the end, it was Potter-Dix who won the game by just two points, 32-30

Saturday night, the coyotes were at home to take on Wallace. They did not fair as well in that one. They lost 52-33 to the 3-4 Wildcats.

Potter-Dix boys team had a much more decisive win in Banner County. They overcame a great outing by wildcats Kristian Clare and Logan Mason to win 69-29.

Landon Gasseling and Dylan Tabor led the coyotes in scoring with Drew Jeppson coming off the bench with a solid performance as well.

The fierce Potter-Dix offense was held at bay by Wallace on Saturday. Those wildcats were able to pick-up the victory, 55-48.

All teams now take a break for the holidays, with those not participating in the Sidney Shoot-out not slated to play again until 2025.
