STERLING, Colo. -- The 2025 Logan County continues its history of farm and ranch life displayed, carnival rides and a time with friends.

Carnival rides opened Tuesday, with the Nextera Energy Bull Riding following.

Wednesday started early with the annual Cowboy Breakfast at the Elks Lodge.

The Logan County Farm Bureau started Thursday with a pancake breakfast. The Junior Goat Show, Junior Rabbit Show and Poultry Shows also took place Thursday. Mutton Bustin' and the PRCA Rodeo were also scheduled for Thursday evening.

The highlight of Friday will be the night show entertainment.

Elijah Pittman says the whole week has been entertaining.

"The funnest thing about Fair is probably like the rides, and the food here, and a lot of people having fun; lot of people talking. What I'm prepared for is the derby. I can't wait for the derby. The derby is like the funnest part," Pittman said.

E.J. Adles, a vendor at the Fair, sees the Fair as an opportunity to experience agriculture first hand.

"It's, you know, where everybody can come together and see agriculture at its finest, kind of a base of the west, too. I mean you got kids for the 4-H, you got stuff for the FFA, you got the local community that is able to participate in ag events too. You can see the rodeo. I think what I really like about it is the fact that its a way for the community to come together, and kind of see where their roots started," Adles said.
