CHEYENNE COUNTY -- Cheyenne County’s Marketing Hometown America (MHA) initiative is moving forward.
Local volunteers are organizing action teams to turn community ideas into on-the-ground projects.
Following recent community conversations, the Action Forum, and an Action Team training, six priority projects are officially underway. Volunteers have stepped forward to convene the first meetings for each focus area, signaling a shift from planning to action.
Current action teams include:
- Marketing to Attract & Retain
- Community Identity Refresh
- Inviting First Impressions
- New Resident Resources
- Revamped Signage
- Community Event Calendar
Initial meetings for these groups will take place over the next month with the goal of maintaining momentum and welcoming additional community members to participate.
To support collaboration and accountability, Extension will facilitate regular “All Action Team Huddles” at key milestones to share progress, address challenges, and strengthen coordination across projects.
Community members interested in getting involved in any of the action teams are encouraged to reach out and join the effort. These projects are designed to build on Cheyenne County’s strengths and improve how the community attracts, welcomes, and connects people.
