Grand Island woman found incompetent for trial again in headstone fraud case
A Grand Island woman charged with 46 counts of theft has been deemed incompetent for trial again.

By News Channel NebraskaGRAND ISLAND, Neb. — A Grand Island woman charged with 46 counts of theft has been deemed incompetent for trial again.
Kelli Lepler, 48 was arrested in 2023 after being accused of taking payments for headstones and not delivering them through her company Monument Advisors.
Court records show that Lepler has been at the Lincoln Regional Center since January 2025, for treatment. She has been found incompetent seven times since then.
The court is expected to review her next competency test on March 17. Lepler was initially arrested in Wentzville, Missouri which is near St. Louis. She was then extradited to Hall County in Nebraska.
