National School Choice Week is underway in Colorado, with a focus on helping parents find schools that work best for their children. More than 650 schools are hosting informational events and activities –– weather permitting.

COLORADO -- National School Choice Week is underway in Colorado, with a focus on helping parents find schools that work best for their children.
Across the state, more than 650 schools are hosting informational events and activities –– weather permitting. In the Denver area alone, 475 schools are participating.
Gov. Jared Polis marked the week with a proclamation highlighting the schooling options available to families. Learning choices for Colorado kids include public, charter, magnet, private, online, and home education.
On Tuesday, hundreds of students, parents, and educators will join Gov. Polis at the Colorado State Capitol in Denver for a school choice rally.
