SIDNEY, Neb. — The Cheyenne County Fair & Rodeo has announced that Chancey Williams will headline the fair’s Friday night concert during the 2026 event scheduled for July 18–25 at the Cheyenne County Fairgrounds in Sidney.

Williams will take the stage Friday, July 24, as the featured music act of fair week. A Wyoming native and former saddle bronc athlete, Williams has built a national following with a neo-traditional country sound rooted in western culture and cowboy storytelling.

Before launching his music career, Williams competed professionally in rodeo. He is one of only two artists, alongside Chris LeDoux, to both compete in rodeo and perform on the main stage at Cheyenne Frontier Days.

Williams has toured nationally and shared stages with artists including Toby Keith, Cody Johnson, Alan Jackson, Dierks Bentley and Parker McCollum. His career highlights include performances at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, a sold-out Ryman Auditorium, the National Finals Rodeo and multiple appearances at the Grand Ole Opry.

His most recent album, Miles On Me, is his seventh studio release and features singles including “Pearl Snap Preacher,” “The Ballad of Uncle Don” and the title track. The album also includes new material, including “Past the Point of Rescue.”

In addition to the Williams concert, the 2026 Cheyenne County Fair & Rodeo schedule includes a PRCA Rodeo on Tuesday, July 21, a Monster Truck Bash on Wednesday, July 22, an event to be announced on Thursday, July 23 and the Rumble on the Rails Demolition Derby on Saturday, July 25.

Tickets for grandstand events go on sale March 1 at cheyennecountyfair.com.
