TECUMSEH – The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest Feb. 6 alleging a vehicle drove with lights off in the backyards of Sterling residences with juvenile passengers.

An arrest affidavit says a deputy was able to track the vehicle by the illumination of brake lights to the next roadway. The vehicle went down an embankment, accelerated and pulled into a driveway at a Maple Street residence.

The affidavit says 43-year-old Misty Sedersten told deputies she had went down an alleyway. She is charged with operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest and child neglect.
