Logan County Sheriff's Office welcomes new K9

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announced the addition of another K9.

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office announced the addition of another K9. 

K9 Kane is originally from Czechoslovakia. 

Kane is a 3-year-old German Shepard that has gone through years of training in preparation for his role at the Logan County Sheriff’s Office. 

K9 Kane was trained by K9 Working Dogs International, in Ashland, OH and became certified team on March 18th, 2022.

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office wants to thank the local businesses who supported K9 Kane and his arrival to the agency: Cargill Animal Nutrition, Bomgaars, and Home Depot. 

Operations Lieutenant, Dennis Aulston said K9 Kane has adjusted well to his new environment and is working the street with Sergeant Fisher.
