Late Wednesday morning, Gering Public Schools sent out a press release stating that Gering Bulldog Head Boys Basketball Coach Kyle Cotton would no longer be serving in that capacity, effective immediately.

Former Gering head basketball coach Rick Winkler has been named as interim head coach and will finish out the rest of the season.

Today, we named Rick Winkler as the interim head coach for the remainder of the 22-23 season and shared this with the team and parents earlier this morning. We have full confidence in Coach Winkler to guide us this season.
