Lean to protect your farm or ranch against wildfire

SIDNEY-- Pheasants Forever is hosting a workshop titled "Protecting Your Place from Wildfire" at the South Platte Natural Resources Office.

Topics include fuel management, natural and manufactured firebreaks, local resources to help plan and implement fire protection, as well as possibly using prescribed fire as a proactive approach to property protection.

Pheasants Forever works closely with the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission, the Natural Resources Conservation Service, the Nebraska Environmental Trust, The Nebraska Forest Service and other conservation partners to help Nebraskans with fire education needs.
