Hastings College Volleyball Head Coach resigns
HASTINGS, Neb. – The Hastings College volleyball team is in need of a new head coach after Alex Allard resigned over the weekend.
Hastings College announced Allard's resignation on Saturday after she just finished her sixth season at the helm of the Broncos.
The team recorded a 15-12 record this most recent season, with an 8-8 mark in the GPAC.
Allard's overall record as head coach was 78-84, and the Broncos best season under her was in 2022 when they made the NAIA National Tournament.
"I have enjoyed my time as the head volleyball coach at Hastings College, and I am grateful for the support and trust from College President Rich Lloyd, and Athletic Director Chris Clements. Their leadership has been instrumental in fostering a positive environment for both the team and the broader athletic community. I wish them all the best in their future endeavors and look forward to seeing the continued success of Hastings College volleyball." Allard said in a statement.
A search is underway for the next Hastings College volleyball head coach.
