Scottsbluff theater receives donation towards marquee project

SCOTTSBLUFF - Platte Valley Companies made a large contribution to help a Scottsbluff theater with improvements to their marquee. 

A $100,000 check was presented to the Midwest Theater on Wednesday to help with the installing of a new marque, lobby restorations, sidewalk renovations, and LED protected lights instead of neon lights that suffer damage in hail storms.

The marquee project is scheduled to start this summer and be completed during the fall.
