SIDNEY – Jordan Hajek is seeking election as Cheyenne County Clerk.

She was appointed as interim Clerk following the retirement of Beth Fiegenschuh in December 2025.

“I am truly thankful that I had the opportunity to spend time with Beth, and learn from her,” she said

She said the role of county clerk is more than tracking documents.

“This position is more than just being part of organizations. It handles everything that comes through the courthouse. I have the privilege to take part in ideas and opportunities that involve the community and employees,” she said.

She said being involved with the county gives her the joy of giving back to the community she grew up in.

I would be delighted to continue my career as the Cheyenne County Clerk, putting employees and the community first ... always,” she said.
