Sidney Police Department adds three new officers

The Sidney Police Department announces three officers have graduated from the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center.

SIDNEY -- The Sidney Police Department has three new members to the force.
 
Officers Stone, Meyer, and Parker graduated from the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center.
 
Each officer demonstrated dedication and potential throughout the rigorous academy training, according to the written statement from the Sidney Police Department. Officer Stone was honored with the prestigious Academic Award for achieving the highest GPA in their class.
 
"We are fortunate to have these talented officers join our ranks. Their deep-rooted connection to our community, coupled with diverse life experiences, will undoubtedly enrich our agency. We are confident that they will uphold the highest standards of service and contribute significantly to the safety and well-being of our community," Interim Chief Sam Lovato said in the Police Department's statement said.
